Six Sigma :- Six Sigma the process that guarantees 99.997% perfect products, is an integral part of the total quality management. 

Six sigma practiced, pioneered by Motorola, has been drawing increasing attention of industries due to its great impact of achieving enormous benefits through reduction of cost of quality. 

It is a quality matrix that counts number of defects per million opportunities at six different sigma levels. Asiya Humeira, Juweria Jaffer, Tahiya, Syeda Tazeen, Amina Fatima, Wajiha Munen & Silver Mardhani, the students of II-year organized the presentation on Six Sigma. 

Students were selected in the Summer Internship programmes conducted by the Bajaj Allied Insurance and a student, Tabassum Sultana, bagged a Compaq Laptop & DVD Player and a cheque of Rs. 10,000/- for outstanding performance of meeting a target of Rs. 4 lakhs in a month. 28 students got the project work also for their participation in the above mentioned internship programmes.

Field trips, Industrial tours & Educational tours are regularly arranged for the students as part of the curriculum. Industrial tours were organized for the students in this year too and they visited various units of Sanghi Industry consisting of textiles, polyester, zip manufactures etc, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.-Zaheerabad, Vizag Steel Plant Ltd.- Vishakhapatnam, Coromandal Fertilizers Ltd.- Vishakhapatnam, B.H.E.L.- Hyderabad.

These industrial visits have encouraged our students and helped them in understanding the technicalities of various jobs which was hugely instrumental in giving them 1st hand experience of how an industry works. This in turn helped them to get a better grasp of Quality Management.

Guest lectures are delivered by eminent professors belonging to different Management Institutes like Viswa Viswani, ICFAI, IIBM etc. and companies like GE, HSBC, HCL etc.

Personality Development classes are arranged regularly for the all round development of the students. Dr. Rajni Reddy, Vice President of Visu Consultancy and Princeton Review Chairperson of PROCAB and former senior faculty member, St. Ann's College are conducting the classes.

Projects are arranged for the students by us in industries like WIPRO, GE, Mahindra Finance, Mahindra Satyam, Bajaj Alliance and banks like Karur Vysya Bank, Corporation Bank, Syndicate Bank, Bank of India, Bank of America, APEX Bank, HSBC & ICICI.
